Noiz.

Noiz route down. We had to go all the way back and just play from the very beginning because I made a lot of choices that favored Koujaku, but the skip button is great. If I thought Koujaku's route was short and pointless, I obviously hadn't done Noiz's yet. It too had nothing to do with anything.

So basically Noiz is totally adorable in his freakish weirdness and tendency to be totally cold. His allmate's online form is irritating but adorable, especially when the little white rabbits with the red gloves squeal "ROGER!"

But HOLY FUCK, AKUSHIMA! In Noiz's route, he persistently gives chase after the police show up at Aoba's house, only for Noiz to punch him in the face with his brass knuckles. Then he shows up in Platinum Jail, somehow managing to be even crazier than humanly possible, shooting exploding lasers from his megaphone.

Later inside the Oval Tower, they run into these freakish doberman allmates, whose faces totally Thing out and shoot lasers.

We liked Noiz, we really did. His backstory made us want to like, give him a hug or whatever, though his ending was totally weird. But we still liked Koujaku, and his backstory, better. Still have Mink's and Clear's routes left, but I don't know what order I'm supposed to play them in. Hey, is there like a secret Akushima route or anything?

Dream.

I had a pretty vivid/detailed dream about the Young Avengers. It was basically a dream about a comic book about an amnesiatastic dream (Wiccan's). It was a sequel. There was a dead baby that came back to life, and Soul Calibur.

Thanks to that whole spring break thing my sleep schedule is kind of skewed. I just woke up. Pretty hungry.

Dramatical murder (mink route).

So we finished Mink's route now. We... don't really like him. His character has sympathetic points but I didn't feel it was enough to justify how much of an ass he was sometimes, also because in the end he was supposed to be a sympathetic character and I'm just like sitting here going "Um, no not really?" It was like yeah, that's how he is but he's still a fucking jerk. His good ending was super boring, probably because we didn't like him enough to care about that kind of thing. His bad ending was kind of-- HELLO, DISMEMBERMENT!

On the other hand, we really love his bad ending song, "Sandy Weeds." Koujaku's was still better because we love Itou Kanako. We really need to get Noiz's bad ending now though, because I've kind of noticed that the bad ending songs are great and the good ending song is "only finally there is the free end" and we don't like that one.

Am starting to wonder if there even is a true ending, because details seem to overlap. So the Oval Tower seemingly randomly exploding in Koujaku's and Noiz's endings (don't know how Clear's goes) is apparently because Mink's guys blew it up. I have to wonder what exactly everyone else does in the route that's not their own.

We've reached the point where if the character speaking hasn't finished their sentence by the time I'm done reading, I just skip it. Visual novels is more work than just playing an actual video game, so I'm starting to get a little tired.
