I went and watched the Avengers last night for Dennis's birthday. It's been a pretty long time since I've seen these guys, I don't know what happened. It was good but kind of hard to watch because wearing both the 3D glasses and regular glasses, caused annoying refraction/reflection effects. ... Almost certainly going to watch it in 2D again. Some fucktard brought their fucking baby to the theater and I wanted to get up and rove up and down the aisles looking for the moron so I could punch him/her, I got that angry.

Also, I expect an increase in shawarma consumption among nerds.

My grain/vegetable research paper is due on Tuesday but instead I spent today watching a hundred different cooking shows where they made tamales. Seriously let's have a little variation, it's not all just tamales. I guess I'm doing it (the paper) on rakkyou because it has some folk medicinal uses and that's always interesting.

Tamale never dies.

I could have afforded to watch more shows about tamales if I really wanted to because I'm totally done. I don't know, there's more physical effort involved, of course, but on the academic side the effort required is like, high school. But of course, the academic side is what nobody cares about.

Tomorrow is potatoes. A gratin, pommes boulangerie or whatever, mashed potatoes and french fries (to put it in simpler, less fussy terms).
