(no subject)

I only use eyeliner and mascara because I have decent skin and I'm afraid of acne, and eyeshadow changes a person's face too much that if you don't use it, you look strange. Any kind of shadow, I suppose.

Anyway I was using waterproof pencil eyeliner and waterproof mascara for a while but had so much problems with smudging no matter what brand I used. I wasn't sure what the precise cause was though. But I randomly decided to try regular mascara and a gel liner one day and got no smudge at all, which was super awesome. I have a monolid so it is guaranteed to smudge with a pencil. The kind of mascara I use makes no difference at all I guess. I decided that liquid liner would probably be even better so long as I could make a straight line, and it's pretty much the same result except with a cleaner line.

I heard the Bobbi Brown gel liners are really good but they are so expensive... I don't think I really need more colors there anyway, I kind of want different colors of liquid liner because I like the clean line and I don't like using a brush.
